What if I accidentally send money to the wrong person or account?
If you have sent a remittance to the wrong recipient, contact account@aletaplanet.com immediately with the transfer details (amount, recipient information, date and time).
International remittances, once processed, are generally difficult to reverse as they may have already been received by the recipient’s bank. However, we will do our best to assist and escalate to the receiving bank where possible.
To avoid sending to the wrong recipient, always double-check the recipient’s name, account number and country before confirming a remittance. The app will display a confirmation screen — review it carefully before tapping confirm.
